ICRT Animal Reiki
Levels I and II and Master
Andrea first began offering Reiki to animals as a volunteer in a veterinary clinic. As a result of her success with animals, her practice grew into a business. She started offering Reiki to people and then began teaching classes in 2006.

ICRT Animal Reiki is not a subset of Reiki for humans taught in general Reiki classes. This energy, combined with the techniques included, not only heals our animal companions but also heals their caregivers and the special relationships they have together.

ICRT Animal Reiki Levels I and II
Beginner Animal Reiki: Students are eligible to enroll for this class anytime after completion of any style of Reiki I and II that includes the 3 Usui Reiki symbols
Developed by the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT), Animal Reiki I and II is taught in one 2-day class with lecture, discussion, practice, and experience. You may facilitate both personal and professional sessions with clients following completion of this class and do not need to have an animal with you to attend and fully participate. We meet live and online in a group setting of 12 or fewer students. We may hear and see each other, interact, discuss, and ask questions, and practice together in small groups, too.
The Animal Reiki energy received in this course is a unique Reiki energy that is a special life force energy for the animals. The Placements given in the ICRT Animal Reiki I & II class will attune and unify the Animal Reiki symbol with each student’s existing Reiki energy and symbols and allow the practitioner to channel the Animal Reiki energy.
This course is open to all lineages and includes practitioner skills, tools, and techniques needed to share Reiki with the animals but can also enhance sessions with humans.

Discussion on giving Animal Reiki full sessions in person or live online, including session preparation, receiving the animal’s consent for Reiki, various Animal Reiki session environments, and developing your own Animal Reiki style

Review of common healing issues for animals, including disharmony, unfulfilled purpose, loneliness, grief, confusion, illness, compassion fatigue, end of life, animals and children, and behavioral problems

Distant Animal Reiki techniques for single animals or groups, candidates for distant Reiki, and how to use photos, written notes, Facetime, or live webcams for distant sessions

How to give Reiki to many species of animals

Balancing empathy and compassion, compassion fatigue and practitioner self-care, and end-of-life support, whether natural death or compassionate euthanasia

Practice time working with animals

Review of how to create a thriving Animal Reiki practice, including in the formal or professional environments of veterinary offices, zoos or wildlife rehab facilities, animal shelters, therapy animal organizations, animal sanctuaries, and ways you might use Reiki in these settings
While practice takes place during the class, it is expected that you will continue to practice with animals afterward to gain the experience and confidence you need to fully utilize all that is offered in this Animal Reiki training course.

Prerequisite:

Completion of Reiki I and II in any style and lineage (that includes the 3 Usui symbols) at any time prior to taking this class

Registration is not complete until you email a clear photo of your Reiki II certificate to contact@mainstreamreiki.com after registering online.
Class Time:
9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. on two consecutive days (Eastern US Time)
Hour-long lunch break plus 10-15 minute breaks every 60-90 minutes.
Current Tuition: $375 total
Each registration includes a $175 non-refundable deposit. The remaining portion is refundable only if notice of cancellation is received via email to contact@mainstreamreiki.com at least 14 days before the scheduled class date.

ICRT Animal Reiki Master
Advanced Animal Reiki: Students are eligible to enroll for this class after completion of a Reiki Master class for humans (any style and lineage that includes the Usui Master symbol) and the ICRT Animal Reiki I & II class at any time prior to this class date.
Upon completion, you can teach both in-person and online ICRT Animal Reiki I & II and Master classes if you wish. Please note that you do not need to have an animal with you to attend and fully participate. We meet live and online in a group setting of 12 or fewer students. We may hear and see each other, interact, discuss, and ask questions, and practice together in small groups, too.
In this three-day course, you will:

Learn additional practitioner skills to help work with and heal animals using Reiki

Receive four Ignitions to the Animal Reiki symbol and energy
-
Receive and learn the Divine Animal Kingdom Healing Experience and the Whole-Body Listening Experience.

Become qualified to teach ICRT Animal Reiki I & II and ICRT Animal Reiki Master upon completion

Deepen your experience, knowledge, communion with the animals, the Spirit of the Earth and the divinity of the Earth.

Learn additional practitioner and Animal Reiki healing tools, including giving Reiki Placements to animals so they receive the Animal Reiki energy for their use

Receive instruction on how to give Placements for ICRT Animal Reiki I & II and four Ignitions for ICRT Animal Reiki Master

Learn how to conduct the Experiences and Invocations

Have practice time in class with fellow students
